In Spanish, "luce" comes from the verb "lucir," meaning to shine or illuminate. That is the mission of Studio Luce Creative: to illuminate the work of other creatives and help their work shine and stand out for the world to see.
Studio Luce's writing retreat is brought to life by a talented team, but Studio Luce Creative is the creation of Co-Founder and Director, Ben Crisp.

Ben is a producer of original creative content, spanning videography, web design, social media, and copywriting.
​
As an author, his debut short story collection was recently published by Bridge House, under the pen name Ben C. Davies, with a new novel currently in the works. He is an editor at the Ginosko Literary Journal and a member of the San Francisco Writers Grotto. He teaches at California College of the Arts.

He has over 12 years of experience doing creative marketing, including four years as Director of Communications for a non-profit and five years managing communications for a UK-based design consultancy. Holding a Master’s in Journalism, his portfolio features diverse publications.
